We’ve rebranded with a new name and logo!
We’re excited to unveil our refreshed brand identity with a change to our name and logo.
We are evolving our brand to better communicate the breadth of services we provide and reflect our growth as an organization. While this is a significant change, our core beliefs haven’t changed. We are committed to building a community, society and world free of violence that promotes safe, healthy relationships for all people.
We want to share with you our rationale behind the updates, and what they represent for HAVEN and our community.
Our New Name
We are now HAVEN | Healthy Alternatives to Violent Environments, formerly known as Haven Women’s Center of Stanislaus County.
We support ALL survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, regardless of gender or gender identity, including adults & children, and promote healthy alternatives to violent environments, while working to end the cycle of abuse through crisis intervention, education and advocacy.
Our Journey
We were founded in 1977 as a refuge center providing domestic violence support services to battered women and their children in Stanislaus County. We have since expanded our services to include all genders and gender identities, and survivors of human trafficking. We serve anyone impacted or affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, which means support is available to everyone in the community.
Our New Logo and Brand
We have updated our brand elements (name, logo, colors and website) to better reflect our mission. We now have a fresh, modern look that connects our past to our future, with colors that reflect our purpose to empower and support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
We’ve chosen awareness colors for our new logo that symbolize the support we provide to survivors of domestic violence (purple), sexual assualt (teal) and human trafficking (blue).
Our new logo includes elements of our previous logo, the icon with outstretched arms, to show we remain connected to our rich history, yet are willing to transform when the need arises.
Our website and email addresses have changed to www.havenstan.org. We are now @havenstanislaus on social media platforms.
Some Things Won’t Change
We have made it our purpose to grow with intention as an organization. We will continue to help survivors find safety, healing and empowerment and provide the same high level of client-centered care. Keep an eye on HAVEN as we continue our growth as the only dedicated, comprehensive provider of support for all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in Stanislaus County.
We would like to express deep gratitude to our supporters and community partners who continue to make our work possible.
As you notice changes in our branding we would certainly love to connect with you. Feel free to reach out with any thoughts, questions, or compliments. If you enjoy social media, please connect with us there. As always, please do not hesitate to contact us.
