How can I access HAVEN services?
Services are available from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for counseling, case management, and restraining order assistance. For Phone Services, please call (209) 524-4331. If this is an emergency or you are seeking emergency shelter, please call our 24 hours crisis line at (209) 577-5980.

Practice Self Care
In times of crisis it is important to remember to take care of yourself as well as your family. Taking a few minutes of your day to practice has been shown to improve mood and reduce stress. The Trans LifeLine for peer support for trans folks 9am-3am CT:1-877-565-8860 This hotline is staffed exclusively by trans operators is the only crisis line with a policy against non-consensual active rescue.
The Deaf Hotline is available 24/7 through video phone (1-855-812-1001), email and chat for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled survivors.

Sheltering in Place recommendations or restrictions may create additional difficulties and risks for survivors. If authorities call for “shelter in place” in your area, are there other friends or family you could stay with during this time? Consider reaching out to these people to make a plan:
Consider reaching out to a trusted friend, co-worker, or family member who could check in with you about your safety and support needs. If you need help identifying support people in your life, take a look at the pod mapping worksheet from the Bay Area Transformative Justice Collective.
Are you connected with close friends or family members of the person who is hurting you? Are they aware of what is happening or are they a safe person to reach out to? Consider connecting with them now in case you need someone to help you in an emergency.

Detox Local - An excellent resource that features abundant information including mental health and substance use resources specifically for the AAPI (American Asian and Pacific Islander) community.
Legal:
Legal Aid at Work - The Central Valley Workers’ Rights Project is committed to providing access to justice for workers, regardless of immigration status, who face discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other unlawful conduct on the job.
With dedicated staff based in the Central Valley, we empower and advocate for low-wage workers in the Central Valley to assert their rights in the workplace through community outreach and education, legal advice and self-help tools, and legal representation in collaboration with community partners.
