Support Groups

Support groups are offered virtually and in-person (at a limited capacity). If you are interested in joining a group, please use the contact number listed to sign-up.

HAVEN support groups are weekly psycho/educational groups designed with an emphasis on understanding the dynamics of abusive behavior and healing for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Support groups are currently facilitated virtually via Zoom and in-person at our Modesto site. These groups are available on various days and times. Groups are open and do not require an appointment. If you are interested in joining a group, please call our office.

Los grupos de apoyo se reunen semanalmente y estan disenados como psico/educacionales con enfasis en entender las dinamicas del comportamiento abusivo y el sanamiento de los sobrevivientes del abuso domestico y del abuso sexual.

Actualmente, los grupos de apoyo se facilitan virtualmente a través de Zoom. Estos grupos están disponibles en varios días y horarios. Los grupos son abiertos y no requieren una cita. Si está interesado en unirse a un grupo, llame a nuestra oficina.

Kids Count! - An 8-week program fr children (ages 5-11) affected by domestic violence. Topics covered include safety, what domestic violence is, anger & alternatives, feelings & coping, self esteem & hope for a non-violent lifestyle.

Teens Count! - A 8-week program for adolescents (ages 12-17) affected by domestic violence. Topics covered include safety, what domestic violence is, anger & alternatives, feelings & coping, self-esteem, dating violence, education & hope for a non-violent lifestyle.
